• On-Device First: Whenever possible, our apps (like Apprendre) process data locally on your device. We do not upload your personal content (e.g., voice recordings, learning history, journal entries) to our servers or third-party AI APIs unless explicitly stated.

A. Information You Give Us (Global)

B. App-Specific Data Collection (Telemetry & Analytics)

1. Apprendre (macOS App)

• Tool Used: Aptabase (Privacy-focused analytics).
• Data Collected:
• App launch counts.
• Feature usage frequency (e.g., "Breakdown" button clicks).
• Performance metrics (e.g., number of local AI model calls).
• Aggregate vocabulary counts (e.g., "User has 50 words saved," not which words).
• What stays on your device: Your actual vocabulary list, voice inputs, and translations are stored locally on your Mac’s file system and are never sent to us.

2. Future Apps

• As we release new apps, we will list any specific data collection details here or on the app's dedicated "Privacy" page.

4. COOKIES AND WEBSITE ANALYTICS

We do not use invasive advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

• Anonymous Analytics: We may use privacy-focused website analytics tools to understand visitor trends (e.g., page views, country of origin). These tools do not track your personal browsing history across other websites and do not collect personal data.

• Aptabase: Anonymous app analytics.

• On-Device Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or the data. We have no access to this.
